Game against the neighbours...
BCH traveled to Brussels for the final match in regular season. It has been a busy time for the Crusaders, trying to get all hockey matches in before next week.
Carson Richmond started off the scoring at 3:24 in the first period. Carson was credited with the goal while Connor Bridge will add another assist to his roster. Avery McArter never quit skating as at 0.8 seconds left in the first period he took a pass from cousin Nick McArter and fellow forward Nolan Johnston to give us a 1 point lead.
After the break, BBMHA Crusaders watched Carson score our last goal with the help of Devin Bridge and Nolan.
Trevor DeCorte, our goalie, cannot go without mention. He made many saves, stopped many shots and made it very difficult for the opposition to score. Teamwork is what we need to put goals on the scoreboard.
We also have a great fan in Sam McArter...he is Trevor's biggest fan and a great moral boost when the team needs some positive feedback. See you at the next game Sam!!!
Sunday night we play in Blyth against the other BBMHA Crusaders Midget LL team. It will be fun to watch a group of previous teammates and buddies work for a win.
We are almost done with this 3 game streak boys...keep up the effort!
