Back to the north we go...
Last Sunday afternoon we traveled to Chatsworth to continue with our playoff games. We had a few more skaters and the outcome was a lot more beneficial.
A smaller drive to Chatsworth seen our boys play against their TCDMHA midget LL boys. Scoring started with the opposition sneaking one past Trevor. The Crusaders weren't going to take this lying down, so Jacob picked up a pass from Dommer who got the puck from Carson to give our side of the board the start we needed.
It wouldn't be until almost the end of the second period when Nolan got a point after passes from Dommer and Jeff. A bit of teamwork happening there. A little over 1 minute later Carson took the shot for a goal after a pass from Jacob.
Approximately half way through the third is when the scoring for these boys started up again with Nolan getting his second of the game after a pass from Carson. Just to round things off with only 33 seconds left in play Avery picked up a pass from Jacob to end the game with the Crusaders at 5 goals.
Great teamwork and passing boys!!! It was nice to have a positive attitude on and off the ice for the entire team. Hockey isn't always about winning, though it is nice, it is also about the teamwork and friendships made. Keep up the great work guys.
