Midget Reps lose against Teeswater
The Midget rep team was still sort 5 players when they took on the South Bruce Blades and lost 5-1.
The boys came out fast and were taking the game to the Blades team, but as the game went on the boys lost there legs and ended up losing 5-1.
Goaltender Jarron Thompson was unlucky on a couple of goals as rebounds kicked out across the net right to South Bruce players who were able to score. If not for great saves by Thompson the score could have been higher.
Jack Pipe scored the Crusaders' only goal unassisted. Pipe, who was skating hard all night, picked the puck up at the defensive blue line and took it to the net. A second and third effort by Pipe allowed him to push the puck past the South Bruce net minder for the tally.
Jared Shearer had another good game, skating hard to the puck and trying to create turnovers. Lucas Townsend had a couple of good hits to keep the Blades honest.
Next game is Sunday against BCH.
