Crusaders having a tough time scoring
The Midget reps are having a tough time scoring in their league games. The boys continue to work hard, but goals are hard to come by.
The coaches, in an effort to try and create some offense, shuffled the lines a bit.
Adam Shortreed was moved to forward after playing most of the season on defence. Adam, being a good team mate, embraced the change and worked hard creating turn overs, and causing the opposing defensemen to rush their passes.
Shortreed's hard work almost paid off against Minto. Charging hard to the puck the Minto defence coughed up the puck and Shortreed went in on a breakaway but was unable to put the puck in the net. This proves that hard work can create scoring chances.
