Blyth-Brussels Atom Girls, U11, 2008-2009 (Blyth Brussels Minor Hockey)

On a snowy Monday night the Blyth-Brussels Atom Girls travelled to Kurtsville to play the Howick-Wallace Atom Girls.

Blyth was the site of an Atom girls game against BCH on November 30th.

After the hard fought battle the day before, the Blyth-Brussels Atom Girls came to the rink well rested. Blyth would score 38 seconds into the game to give Walkerton the wake up call. Tiffany Deitner scored with the assist going to Sydney Michie. The Atom Girls would wait until there was only 2:28 left in the second to light up the scoreboard again.

On November 15th, the Blyth-Brussels Atom girls travelled to Ayton. Missing 4 players the squad battled hard. Normanby would be up 5 goals before the loan Blyth-Brussels goal was scored unassisted by Morgan Howson.

Brussels was the site of the home game against Mount Forest on Saturday, November 8th. Mount Forest started out strong not allowing the home team to clear the puck from their end. With just over 2 minutes into the game, Blyth-Brussels would get their chance.
