Ducharme gets first shutout of the year
After the hard fought battle the day before, the Blyth-Brussels Atom Girls came to the rink well rested. Blyth would score 38 seconds into the game to give Walkerton the wake up call. Tiffany Deitner scored with the assist going to Sydney Michie. The Atom Girls would wait until there was only 2:28 left in the second to light up the scoreboard again.
Emily Mitchell would score unassisted. Blyth would score again at 11:39 of the third when Teresa Atkinson hit the twine with an assist awarded to Faith Sebastian. Walkerton continued to battle hard throught the game. The three stars of this game were Carlie Ducharme for earning her first shut out of the season, Ashley Johnston and Emily Mitchell.
