Bantam Series Tied
The Bantam Bulldogs met Ripley in game 2 in Blyth on Wednesday January 16th. Blyth began the scoring with 58 seconds left in the first with a goal from Adam Cronin, assisted by Austin Sjaarda and Tyler Black.
The Bulldogs would score 2 more before Ripley began to take over the game. Blyth goals were scored by Cronin assisted by Ryan Sjaarda and Black and an unassisted goal by John Lecomte. Penalties would be the only way, Blyth would get on the board for the remainder of the game. Ripley kept the pressure on for the remainder of the game. After having 4 penalties in the first two periods, Ripley would score 4 goals in the third.
Game 3 is in Blyth Monday, January 21 at 9:00. Game 4 is in Ripley on Friday January 25th.
