Blyth Brussels Beat Goderich 5-3
December 12 saw Goderich Sailors travel to Blyth. Goderich scored in the first period but Nick Aitken answered back with a goal assisted by Ryan McMicheal and Kesler Jardin. Tanner Boven helped Blyth Brussels take the lead with a goal 20 seconds later assisted by Connor Brooks.
In the second period Goderich scored to tie the game but Wade Machan scored to take the lead assisted by Aitken. Tanner Boven scored assisted by Connor Brooks to make the score 4-2.
The game kept all the fans on the edge of their seats. Myles Johnston scored unassisted in the third to help his team. Cole Zwep, once again, along with the defense showed great team work holding Goderich to a score of 5-3. Jason Wilts and Connor Brooks were a great addition to the team.
