Big Win for Atom LL
Blyth Brussels hosted Goderich on Wednesday evening for the last game
of the series. The team came out strong and Connor Brooks managed to slap the puck between the pads in the first period to take the lead.
The team kept the scoreboard lit by shoving 3 goals in the net in the 2nd period. Goals were scored by Adam Shortreed assisted by Ben Jacklin, Jason Wilts assisted by Ben Jacklin, and Connor Brooks unassisted.
The team wasn't finished, in the 3rd when Josh Plunkett received a pass from Kyle Josling to take the lead of 5-0. Goderich put one over Joe Jacklin's shoulder to get on the scoreboard, but that was the only one that they managed to put past him.
The team now goes on to play Mitchell for a 3 game series.
Great job goes out to the whole team as they played hard, and played together to capture the win!
