Atom LL Down Two
On Wednesday Blyth Brussels hosted Goderich in their first game of playoffs.
The team came out strong in the first period and Ben Jacklin shoved one past the pads, assisted by Adam Shortreed. They played strong the whole game and were not done scoring as Jason Wilts and Ben Jacklin both scored unassisted. Goderich managed to tie it up making the game go into overtime. Although Blyth Brussels couldn't record a win, they played a great game. Joe Jacklin made great saves in net.
The team travelled to Goderich on Saturday, but were not able to keep the momentum going. The lonely goal was scored by Josh Plunkett assisted by Johnathon Vincent.
The team continues play against Goderich on Wednesday night in Brussels at 6:30.
