Dog's Tame the Wildcats
Bantam Rep traveled to Monkton on October 30 to play the Elma Logan Wildcats

The Dogs dominated this game from the drop of the first puck. Spencer Stevenson got the Dogs on the board with assists going out to the VanWyk twins Matt and Mike. The second goal was an unassisted effort by Dustin Pennington. Arden Coultes got on the score sheet with a great pass from Dustin. Finishing out Blyth’s scoring for the first was Spencer with the assists going out to the VanWyk’s yet again. So at the end of the first Blyth was up 4 to 0.

The second seemed to be a little more focused on the hard hits rather than the goals. With 3:15 left in the second Dustin had seen enough and buried the puck for his second of the game with the assist going to Mike. So the second ended with Blyth up 5 to 0.

The third continued with the big hits and lots of shots at both ends. For Blyth, Ryan Nesbitt decided it was time to get a defenseman on the game sheet and skated in with the puck and buried it. Next up was Spencer getting a “Hat Trick” with a great pass from Mike. Getting his second of the game was Arden with the assist going to Dustin. The third ended with Blyth up 8 to 0.

Almost forgot, getting his second straight “Shut Out” was Dalton (Eddie) Carey. There is a rumor you have new fans in the GTA.

Blyth’s next game is in Zurich November 5 at 9:00pm.

GO DOGS GO!
