Crusader Bantam Reps tie Wingham with a goal in the last minuate
The Howson Mills Bantam Rep Crusaders travelled to Wingham to take on the Ironmen, and tied them 3-3.

The Crusaders played the Wingham Ironmen December 18 in Brussels, and despite outplaying them for the most part, the Crusaders had to settle for a 4-4 tie.

On December 22nd the Crusaders were hosted by the Ironmen and opened the scoring in the first minute of play. Defenceman Ryan Jacklin received the puck from defence partner Mitch McNichol and took off skating.  Jacklin went end to end beating the Wingham goalie with a laser of a shot to put the Crusaders up 1-0.

The Ironmen were able to score two in the second period putting the Ironmen up by two.  Mason Weber, who has been a force for the Crusaders of late, tried to get the score a little closer, firing a wicked shot at the Wingham goalie, and even though he was able to stop the puck, had to leave the game as the force of the shot cut his left arm.

Goalie Max Newson was having a solid game when he had an equipment malfunction and had to leave the game.

The Crusaders came out flying in the third, hoping to take advantage of the goalie change, but the new Wingham keeper was up to the challenge and turned aside a number of shots until, with five minutes left in the third, Ryan Jacklin was able to score his second of the game to bring the Crusaders within one.

The Crusaders continued to buzz the Ironmen net and with just 18 seconds left in the game, Mason Weber scored the tying goal with assists going to Cole Zwep and Nick Aitken.
