Uninspired effort costs the Howson Mills Bantam Reps
The Goderich Sailors played the Bantam Rep Crusaders in an exhibition game at the Blyth arena Sunday night, and they defeated the Crusaders 5-0.
The Crusaders continued their season long issue with consistency, allowing the Goderich Sailors to enter the Crusader zone, and get right in on goalie Max Newson.
The lines were shuffled in an attempt to generate some offense. Jacob Roth, Cole Zwep, and Myles Johnston hustled and attempted to create some offensive chances, but were unable to connect. Jacob Gulutzen and Colin Howson also dug hard playing a two way game.
Defensively Alex Coultes, Ted Jacklin, and Dakota Coultes worked hard, but the results don't reflect how they played.
The Crusaders are off until Friday night when they will host Listowell in Brussels.
