Howson Mills Bantam Reps Lose to the BCH Ice Dogs
A slow start led to the Crusaders losing to the BCH Ice Dogs 4-1 on Sunday night.



Unlinke the Kincardine game the Crusaders started the game slowly, and were outshot in the first period 13-3, and were down 1-0.

The Crusaders came out skating hard in the second period. Ryan Jacklin and Colin Howson had some good defensive rushes, but the team was unable to capitalize on the scoring chances. Dakota Coultes made some good defensive plays, and goalie Max Newson made some excellent saves, to keep the Crusaders in the game.

Bailey Bos scored the lone Crusader goal on a good individual effort.  Bos pressured the BCH defenseman behind the BCH net and came out with the puck. The BCH goaltender slit do his right, but Bos came out the other side and tucked the puck in to the open net.

The Crusader effort continued, and the shot total ended up 34-32 in favour of BCH, but Crusader shooters were not able to put one past the BCH goaltender and the game ended 4-1 in favour of the Ice Dogs.

The next game for the  Howson Mills Bantam is Reps November 22 at the Blyth and District Community Centre against the Minto Mad Dogs.
