Midget Rep, U18, 2012-2013 (Blyth Brussels Minor Hockey)

They say that winning in someone else's 'barn' is a tough task to take on but you can't tell that to the Blyth Brussels Midget Rep Crusaders.  Winning on the road led them to the OMHA Finals and another road win earned them the OMHA Championship.  The Crusaders posted a 6-3 victory to take the OMHA series 3-1 (games).

Crusaders lead series 2-1.  You don’t make the OMHA Midget playoff round because it has been easy ride and don’t expect the finals to be any different.  It appears both teams know this quite well and have settled in after each taking a win on home ice.  A Crusaders packed crowd in Brussels was treated to some excellent hockey from both teams.   The game was full of constant pursuit and thrilling chances at both ends.  It seemed that the goaltenders were not going to relent and give up a goal.  

Crusaders, Arden Coultes #5, makes sure that the Belmont player can’t make the wrap around.  After winning the first at home, the hard checking 2nd game saw the Crusaders lose 4-0 in Belmont.  The OMHA series is tied at 1-1.
