Atom LL Burgandy Off to a Great Start
Atom LL Burgandy hosted Lucknow Saturday morning for their first game of the season. Showing a slow first couple of shifts the team figured each other out and managed to put some goals in the net.
Rylee Chalmers recorded his first hatrick along with Blake Porter, Cole Zwep and Tim Vincent each getting on the scoreboard.
The second period showed great passes with Zwep, Nathan Brown and Josh Plunkett slapping pucks in the net.
Assists throughout the game go to Brown, John Nesbit, Plunkett, Portor, Vincent, Clair Mitchell, Zwep and Austin Ireland. Devin Bridge and Carson Heise kept the opposing team from coming in their end. Ty McNichol played a great game in net only letting one goal past his pads.
The next day the team went on to play BCH in Clinton and came home with a 2-2 tie. Once again the team worked well together, making it an exciting game to watch.
