Hat Trick for Zwep
The Blyth Brussels Atom LL Burgandy team won 2 games before heading into Christmas break. The team played Mitchell and came out with a score of 6-1.
They got on the scoreboard in the first period with Rylee Chalmers and Blake Porter getting goals assisted by Porter and Devin Bridge.
In the second period Cole Zwep received 2 goals assisted by Claire Mitchell and Porter. Mitchell got one past the pads of Ty McNichol in the second period by that didn't stop the Burgundy team. The third period 2 more goals were shoved in by Zwep and Porter assisted by Zwep. A great game played by all.
The team then hosted Tiverton for an outstanding win of 7-2. With Tiverton coming out of the gates quick they shot one in the net in the first period taking the lead. The team tied it up with Claire Mitchell taking the puck up the ice from defense to score unassisted. Tiverton got another one past the pads to take the lead.
The second period gave Zwep a chance to shove 2 in the net and Porter to put another one in assisted by Chalmers. They kept going in the third period with Simon Johnston, Chalmers and Devin Bridge all taking credit for goals. Another great game played by all.
