Big Win for Atom LL Burgandy
Wow what a game! Blyth Brussels hosted the Seaforth Stars on Tuesday night for an edge of your seat game! With the team pumped up and keen to show them what we had, we got on the scoreboard early in the game with Blake Porter scoring unassisted.
That just made the team eager to get another one and that is just what they did. Nathan Brown received a pass from Josh Plunkett to take the lead by 2. Seaforth put on the heat by tieing up the game by the end of the 1st period and took the lead by the end of the 2nd period.
Both teams were very hungry for the win but the Bulldogs tied up the game with Cole Zwep getting a pass from Rylee Chalmers just to make the game interesting. With back and forth play and only 8 seconds left in the last period Zwep got a hold of the puck, skated his way up the ice and shoved it in the net to take the lead and the win.
Way to go team you pulled out all the stops and proved you could do it. Keep up the great work and the pressure for next game, and keep the fans on their toes!
