Tyke Blue, 2012-2013 (Blyth Brussels Minor Hockey)

Blyth Brussels were off to the Lucknow Ron Alton Tyke Tournament to defend last years "A" side winners but Kincardine would have no part of that, defeating the Tykes by a score of 8-5 to send the Tyke Blue team to the "B" side.

Well the day came to play our first game of real hockey.  No more 3 minute buzzers, yes, offsides would be called and what is this changing on the fly thing?

Tyke Blue took to the ice on Friday night for two of the three games to be played in the Wallace Fun Days Tournament. First game brought the Listowel Cyclones, with the team pumped we seen an end-to-end game, break aways stoned by Blyth Brussels goaltender. We scored the only goal to give us to a 1-0 victory.

Just a great day for kids in the London Knights hockey tourney, a tough loss in the first game saw Sarnia score with 4 seconds left on the clock.

Tyke Blue got Seaforth on home ice and were more than keen to give Seaforth a taste of their own medicine.
