Tyke Blue Win at Wallace Tourney
Tyke Blue took to the ice on Friday night for two of the three games to be played in the Wallace Fun Days Tournament. First game brought the Listowel Cyclones, with the team pumped we seen an end-to-end game, break aways stoned by Blyth Brussels goaltender. We scored the only goal to give us to a 1-0 victory.
Later that night Wallace proved to be too much for our tired bodies and eyes as we came up short.
Saturday brought a good nights sleep, fresh legs, clear minds and it showed - was the best game we have played all year, the passing, team play and positioning was on track and so was the scoreboard. We came out with a 6-1 win over the Drayton Defenders.
Way to go team.
