Marshall earns Shutout
Blyth hosted the Seaforth Stars on Sunday afternoon. With the team still fighting the flu, the Blyth Atom Local League team hit the ice against the Stars.
This would be a another close game for the boys, Blyth's, Carson Richmond opened the scoring in the 1st, assisted by Josh Gibbons. Seaforth would attempt a comeback and goalie, Franklin Marshall would turn away all shots. There would be no more scoring in the 2nd or 3rd periods, and Marshall would hang on for the shutout.
