First Home Game for Bantam Girls
The Blyth-Brussels Bantam girls had their first home game Wednesday, October 28th against Tiverton.
The girls started out well in the first period with the first goal being scored by Courtney Middegaal, and assisted by Tori Cardiff, but Tiverton came back early in the second to score one of their own. The girls seemed to lose their steam as the game went on with Tiverton scoring again, but in the third period Heidi Raynard pulled off an unassisted goal leaving the team some hope to tie it up. Despite their efforts the final score was 3-2 for Tiverton. Good effort by the team and by goalie, Justine Reid, better luck next game girls.
