Bantam Girls qualify for Provincials
The Bantam girls played well in their provincial playoffs this year winning all 5 of their qualifying games. This will be their first year competing at the Provincial Tournament and the girls are really pumped to have this opportunity.
This team also had their year end WOAA tournament on March 6th. They won their first game against Owen Sound 2-1 in an exciting game with end-to-end action. This put them on the "A" side of the tournament coming up against a very tough Kincardine B team (who have also qualified for Provincials in the B division). Obviously this team was very skilled, and the girls knew they would have a challenging game ahead of them. They played hard, however were served a 5-0 loss. Great effort girls and we all wish you luck at the provincials in Toronto, April 9, 10 and 11.
