Blyth-Brussels Bantam Girls Play Twice over Weekend
The Blyth-Brussels Bantam girls team played two games this weekend. One was in Mildmay on Saturday, and the other was a home game against Upper Maitland on Sunday, with good results.
On Saturday they met up with Mildmay Monarchs, whom they had not played yet this year. The teams were fairly evenly matched, and the game ended in a 0-0 tie.
On Sunday they played a home game in Blyth against the Upper Maitland Mustangs who they have had several close games against this year. The girls played well and ended up with a 3-0 win. Scoring for Blyth-Brussels were Tori Cardiff, Jordan Sholdice and Laura Higgins. Good work girls.
The Bantam girls have two games next weekend, with a home game in Brussels on Sunday at 5:30 vs. Mildmay. Come out and cheer them on.
