Peewee Rep Dominate First Game of Series
The first game of the series against Drayton was played in Blyth on Sunday, January 25th with the Dogs dominating the play.
The scoring was started with 3:07 left in the first period by Dustin Pennington, assisting on the goal were Spencer Stevenson and Arden Coultes. In the second period Blyth was able to get three more by Drayton’s goalie, scoring were Arden, Spencer and Matt VanWyk, with assists going to Braydon Whitfield, Josh VanSoest and Arden. Also, late in the second period Drayton was able to sneak one by Blyth’s goalie, Dalton Carey. The third period Blyth kept up the pressure and scored three more goals. Scoring in the third were Trystan Weber, Connor Rodger, and Dustin, assisting on those goals Matt, Spence, Dustin for 2, and Wyatt Carey. Final score was 7 to 1 for Blyth.
Game two of this series is in Drayton on Wednesday, January 28 at 7:00 p.m.
