Peewee Rep Take on TCDMHA
The Blyth Peewee Rep were successful in defeating TCDMHA Rebels in 4 games in the best of 5 series.
Game 1 was played in Blyth on February 28th with Blyth winning 4-2. Scoring for Blyth was Dustin Pennington, Mike & Matt VanWyk, and Trystan Weber. Assists went to Wyatt Carey, Ryan Nesbitt and Matt. In net was Dalton Carey.
Game 2 was played in Chatsworth on March 1st with TCDMHA coming out on top with a final score of 6-2. The Vanwyk twins got our only two goals, with assists going to Trystan Weber, and Wyatt Carey. In net was Dalton Carey.
Game 3 was played in Chatsworth on March 7th with Blyth winning a tight game 2-1. Scoring for Blyth came from Dustin Pennington, and Matt VanWyk, with assists from Spencer Stevenson, Arden Coultes, and Wyatt Carey. In net was Dalton Carey.
Game 4 was back in front of the home crowd in Blyth on March 8th with the Peewee Rep boys winning 8-3. Scoring in this game was Spencer Stevenson for 3, Dustin Pennington for 2, and one each for Mike VanWyk, Matt VanWyk ,and Trystan Weber. Assisting on those goals was Wyatt Carey, Mike VanWyk, Arden Coultes, and Connor Rodger for 2. In net again was Dalton Carey.
The Dogs now move on to play a round robin series with Shallow Lake and Wingham.
