On Saturday, November 1st, the Goderich Atom AE team travelled to Blyth for the first match up this year.
The scoring started late in the first with Drew Bromley, assisting Bromley was Owen Weber. Twenty-one seconds later the second goal was a top shelf shot by Hunter Dale with assistance from Craig Raynard.
There was no scoring by either team in the second period. The third period saw Blyth score one more goal by Brendan Howson, unassisted. Goderich had no luck getting the puck past Blyth's net minder Franklin Marshall.
