Atom Reps Defeated by Listowel
The Atom Reps travelled to Listowel on December 20th.
The scoring was started in the first by Blyth's Dale with a poke of the puck into the net. Justin Rodger helped with this goal.
The second period saw no goals scored by Blyth, but Listowel scored 2 to gain the lead.
The third period was a little better in the scoring end for Blyth, but Listowel also came out to score.
Dawson Coultes had a beautiful deek with a shot to the net and scored. The second and final goal for Blyth, of the period, was scored by Dale with another poke into the net, with assistance from Justin Rodger and Jeffrey Gordon. I guess poking at the goalie can pay off.
With the regular goalie being absent, Brendan Howson was sent between the pipes. He made many great saves to keep the score at a minimum. Good job guys.
