Atoms Move on in Playoffs
The Atom Rep team is moving on after a 6 game series with Ripley.  The local boys had to win the last two games in overtime to clinch the series.

The first game was in Ripley and the locals came up short losing 5-4 in overtime. Scoring were Dawson Coultes, Jake Coultes, Brenden Howson, and Colton Rodger.  Assists went to Drew Bromley, Hunter Dale, Brandon Marshall, Colton Rodger, and Owen Weber.

For the second game the rep players were on fire winning the game 7-3.  Leading the way was Justin Rodger with 3 goals, Brandon Marshall with 2, and singles went to Hunter Dale, and Brenden Howson.  Picking up the assists, Rodger and Dale with a pair, singles Colton Rodger, Dawson Coultes, and Brenden Howson.

Game three was back in Ripley and the home team came out with a 6-5 win.  Brandon Marshall had a pair of goals, Drew Bromley, Brenden Howson, and Justin Rodger scoring the remainder.  Players earning the helpers, Dawson Coultes 2, Jordan Hubbard, Craig Raynard, Colton Rodger, Jake Coultes, and Drew Bromley.

With their backs against the wall,  a win or a tie was needed in game 4 to keep the series going.  After four periods of hockey the final was 4-4.  Marshall with 2 goals, Bromley and Dale with singles.  Assists:  Bromley, Howson, and Colton Rodger. 

On the road for game number 5 and another win was needed.  The locals came away with a 2-1 victory in overtime.  Drew Bromley and Brandon Marshall had a goal and assist each to secure the win.  Bromley scored the OT winner.  

The main event was set with game 6 in Blyth, the winner moving on to the WOAA finals against Drayton. The locals were victorious, winning 3-2 in overtime.  Brenden Howson had a pair of goals including the OT winner, Drew Bromley scoring the first goal for the locals. Marshall and Colton Rodger had helpers on the Bromley goal.  Franklin Marshall played solid in goal helping his team to clinch the series.
