Blyth Novice Rep Play Zurich
The Novice Rep will play Zurich in the first round of the playdowns.
Blyth travelled to Zurich last Friday to begin. Blyth opened the scoring in the first with a goal by Carson Richmond and help from Jared Shearer and Bailey Bos. Parker Gibbings would then score one unassisted. Richmond scored his second of the game, with a pass from Colin Howson. Bailey Bos, and Shearer, would team up in the 3rd for a goal, and then Shearer would score one of his own from Bos and Richmond. Goalie, Jacob Gulutzen, earned his first shutout of the season with some great goaltending. Final: Blyth 5, Zurich 0.
Blyth then hosted Zurich on Saturday, February 21st. With Jacob Gulutzen playing out, he lead his team with a pair of goals in a 3-1 win. Blyth takes the 4 point series in 2 games.
