Novice Rep Come Up Short
Novice fall to Seaforth.
Thursday night saw the Novice Rep team take on Seaforth. Blyth played a strong game, but came up short in the end.
Seaforth opened the scoring in the first with about 4 minutes remaining. On the next shift Blyth's Carson Richmond scored Blyth's first goal of the game. Richmond then scored again .8 seconds later to take the lead. Seaforth would tie it up before the end of the first.
The second saw many chances by both teams and both goalies stopped them all. Heading into the 3rd, the game was tied at 2. Seaforth then snuck one past goalie, Bailey Bos, to take the lead for good. Blyth skated hard and tried their best attempting to tie it up again, but came up one short. We will get them next time.
