It was a Dark, Damp, Dreary Day
The shorthanded Novice Rep couldn't keep up with the Minto team.
The Blyth Novice Rep team met up with a tough Minto team today on our home ice surface. Blyth was shorthanded from the start of the game and only managed to have 8 skaters and a goalie. Our players tried to mount a strong game, however we couldn't mount an attack against a full and talented Minto team.
Blyth goalie Jake Gulutzen stopped several shots fired at him, but couldn't get them all. Blyth skaters had trouble getting the puck out of our end at times and Minto made sure they capitalized on the several opportunities they had.
Blyth coaches saw a few things during the game, which they will be working on in the next couple of practices. Blyth plays their next home game on Thursday, November 20 at 6:30 p.m. Come on out and watch the team.
