Novice Travel to Drayton
Novice team takes first loss of season to a tough Drayton team.
Drayton opened the scoring in the first, scoring against goalie Parker Gibbings. Blyth's Carson Richmond tied it up a few seconds later with a break-away goal. Richmond added his second of the game a couple of minutes later assisted by Ethen Coultes. Blyth finished the first with a 2-1 lead.
Drayton scored the only goal in the second to tie the game at 2. Drayton controlled the game in the third with several scoring chances being stopped by Gibbings. Drayton managed to sneak through 2 more in the third to hand Blyth it's first loss of the season.
Great effort team, we will get them next time.
