Peewee LL Burgundy, U13, 2014-2015 (Blyth Brussels Minor Hockey)

After having only 1 game in the last 3 weeks due to the holidays and cancellations, the team came out and played arguable their best game of the season so far. Everyone should be recognized for their hard work and team play. Ben Jacklin and Reid Button had a big game, each scoring 2 goals. Joe Jacklin had a monster game in net (and even had time for a short rest on the bench in the second period) recording his third shutout of the season. The team has a tough schedule over the next couple weeks so keep up the hard work.

Congratulations to the team for a strong TEAM performance last night. It is games like last night that make coaches and parents proud of the kids. It is not the fact that we won the game last night that makes me proud, it is because of how we won, hard work and great team play. I also wanted to congratulate Joe Jacklin on his first shut out. Keep up the great work.

We will be having our Parent/Coaching Staff meeting after our practice on Wednesday October 8th at 7:30. Please plan to attend this meeting. We will be asking for a team parent rep and collecting all contact information so everyone has a list.
