Tyke 1 Battle in Bayfield Tourney
Our team is big at 16 kids, small dressing rooms proved to be a challenge, the small ice surface was interesting as well. First came Mitchell and it was a battle as usual back and forth it went, stellar goaltending at each end resulted in a 0-0 tie. Then it was upstairs for some pizza and chips before the next game.
Seaforth was the next stop for the mighty Blyth Brussels Tykes. Now adjusted to the smaller ice surface, or the pizza kicked in, the kids came out strong and put 3 goals past the Seaforth goalie, while Lucas Jacklin played an always steady game between the pipes. Way to go kids, medallions were awesome.
