Tyke 1 Win Ron Alton Tourney
Tyke one headed to Lucknow to play in the 44th Ron Alton tournament. Kincardine was first at 10AM and the team rocked to AC/DC and came up with a 5-1 win. Kincardine scored first, but then all three lines kicked in to bring us the win.
The hometown Lucknow kids were next, and the Blyth Brussels Tykes spoiled the day for them with a big win, moving them onto the A championship.
Here we met the Teeswater bunch, tired kids and tired coaches, we started out slow, down by a goal, then some breaks, a bit of spark and away we went to defeat Teeswater 5-3.
Nerve racking for sure at times, but this group never gives up and have fun playing the game. I know the coaches were as happy as the kids. Big day.
