Zurich Thunder rolled into Blyth for the 9:00 PM start on Monday, November 30.
Blyth's Andrew Hess would score the first goal of this game assisted by Ryan Sholdice, there would be no more scoring in the first period.
In the second Zurich would score at 12:49 and 7:31 to put them ahead of the Blyth squad, but Blyth would answer back at 6:55 with a goal by Connor Prescott, assisted by Jordan Bakelaar.
The third period saw another Blyth goal by John Lecomte, assisted by Andrew Hess, this would be the end of Blyth's scoring but would see Zurich score at 5:58, 4:43 and 0:48 of the third to hand Blyth the loss.
Alec Lorentz turned away many shots and played an excellent game in net for his team.
