Bulldogs on the road to Zurich
The second game of the playoffs would see the Bulldogs up against a strong Zurich team.
The Bulldogs hit the ice ready to play and this game would see them net the first goal, an unassisted goal from Johnathan Atkinson.
In the second period with end to end action Blyth would get goals from Jordan Bakelaar, assisted from Brendan Stretton and Dana Teed, and a beauty of a goal from Collin Whitfield assisted by Stretton. Zurich would score at 4:29 of this second period.
The third period would see the Bulldogs working hard and getting goals from Connor Prescott assisted by Stretton, and Stretton assisted by Ryan Sjaarda. Zurich would score another before this period was over.
Blyth would defeat the Zurich team 5-2.
