Novice Split Games with 2 Wins and 2 Losses
During the last month the Novice Bulldogs played 4 games with 2 wins and 2 losses.
The first game was against the first place team from Wallace with the final score 8-2. Scoring for Blyth were Cody Treble and Brenden Howson, assisting on the goals were Samantha Kerr, Colton Rodger and Brenden Howson.
A stronger effort came in the second game with the locals skating to a 7-3 victory over Milverton. Blyth scorers: Cody Treble - 3 goals, 1 assist; Brenden Howson - 2 goals, 2 assists; Chad Treble - 1 goal, 1 assist; and Dawson Coultes - 1 goal.
During North Huron Hockey Days the team played in Wingham and came up short losing 9-4 to Wingham with Dawson Coultes, Brenden Howson, Cody and Chad Treble scoring for Blyth. Assisting on the 4 goals were Brenden Howson with 2, Dawson Coultes and Chad Treble with one each.
Milverton came to town for the last meeting of the regular season with the score 8-2 in favor of the local kids. Goal scorers: Cody Treble - 3, Colton Rodger - 2, Chad Treble - 1, Jeff Gordon - 1, and Brenden Howson with 1. Assists: Chad Treble and Jacob Coultes with 2 a piece, and singles going to Jeff Gordon, Craig Raynard, Cameron Gauthier and Brenden Howson.
The team will Travel to Palmerston to play Minto on Saturday, January 12th for a 10:30 am start.
