The atom girls got back on the winning track in a game against Wallace.
The girls hosted the Wallace team last Wednesday night and came out on the winning side of a 8-2 score. Amy Boyce found the scoring touch and scored a hat trick. Ashley Higgins added to her team leading goal total by scoring the team's other 5 goals. Assists went to Morgan Howson (2), Brooke Middegaal, Leanne Plunkett (2) and Autumn Wightman (2).
Next up was a trip to Mildmay this past Sunday to play the second place team. The girls played well defensively against a strong team and were down 2-0 going into the third period. The Mildmay girls proved too strong and added 3 more goals in the final period.
The team has lots of hockey to play this coming weekend as they play in Ayton on Saturday, in Goderich on Sunday and in Wallace on Monday evening.
