Atom Girls Lose to Top Teams
After starting out with 2 wins the girls have lost three in a row.
The girls played a very solid defensive game against the visiting Sailorettes from Goderich on November 17th. The final score was 4-0 for Goderich and was a good result against a very strong team. On November 25th the team made the trip to Mount Forest. The Mount Forest team exacted their revenge for Blyth's earlier win and beat the Ice Dogs by a 4-1 score.
On Saturday December 1st, the team hosted an exhibition game against Seaforth. The Seaforth team is undefeated on the season and the girls held it close going in to the third period only down 4-2. The final score was 6-2 for Seaforth. The girls have performed well against some tough competition and are playing well as a team.
