MIDGET GIRLS C TAKE GOLD AT SILVER STICK!
It was a busy weekend for the Midget C Girls at the 2016 Caitlyn Cobean Memorial Silver Stick Tournament hosted by Saugeen Shores.
The tournament began Friday afternoon against the St. Thomas Panthers with neither team scoring during that game leaving a 0-0 tie. It was followed by a 3-1 win Friday evening versus the TCDMHA Rebels and a third game Saturday night against the Grey Highland Shooting Stars where the girls finished with a 1-1 tie earning a spot in the semi-final game. Sunday morning they faced off versus the Lambton Shores Predators coming out ahead with a 3-2 win. The Crusaders finished the weekend Sunday afternoon challenging the St. Thomas Panthers for the title and their continued hard work proved a success as they came out ahead ending the game with a 1-0 win and taking GOLD!! Way to go Girls!!
