Novice Reps in Silver Stick Finals
Kincardine Silver Stick got underway Friday for the Blyth Brussels Novice Rep team.
Two games Friday with Stayner and Durham, the kids were ready with a big victory at 10:00 AM and another at 2:15 PM.
Saturday morning at 10:00 was our neighbours the Seaforth Stars. This game was tied going into the 3rd until Blyth Brussels broke the game open with 5 goals to come out with a 8-3 victory.
The last group play game was Mildmay, yes they are tough and had not played yet today, couple tough breaks we ended up coming up short with a 3-0 loss.
Good news is we were already in the finals with our first 3 wins, so how about everyone come to Kincardine for 9:00 AM Sunday morning to cheer this bunch of great kids on in their quest to become Silver Stick champs.
