Fell Short at Drayton Tournament
On Saturday the Novice LL travelled to Drayton for a one day tournament. Playing early first thing in the morning, Jeffery Walden slapped one in past the goalie assisted by Griffin Marshall in the first period. That is the way the score stayed and the team went on to play at 1:00.
After playing mini sticks and having lunch, the team were keen to play Woolwich but lost 2-1. It was a very exciting game and the fans were on the edge of their seats. Blyth Brussels pulled the goalie and tried to get one down to the other end but fell short. Bailey Coles scored the lonely goal with the help of Tim Vincent. After the team received their medals they walked away winners!
