Bantam Girls Earn Win over Upper Maitland
Some good passing and tight defense seen the Bantam girls defeat the Upper Maitland Mustangs 3-1. After a scoreless 1st period Kathryn Chalmers scored Blyth Brussels' first goal 10 minutes into the 2nd period. Setting up the goal was Lauren Bedard and Ashley Higgins.
Leanne Plunkett got the second goal, unassisted, and rounding out the score sheet was Ashley Higgins assisted by Teresa Atkinson.
The girls penalty kill units did a great job as well.
