Bantam Girls Start Season with a Win
A big third period seen the Bantam girls notch their first win of the 2011/12 season, 8-2 over Mildmay/Teeswater.
Scoring for the home side were Ashley Higgins and Mackenzie Nesbitt with 2 each, and adding singles were newcomer Lauren Bedard, Caitlyn Scarrow,Tiffany Deitner, and Kathryn Chalmers. Getting assists were Faith Sebastian, Tiffany Deitner, and Mackenzie Nesbitt with 2 each and singles to Taylor Higgins, Kathryn Chalmers, Ashley Higgins, Emily Mitchell, and Emma Strome. Lindsay Shiell played well in net and Leanne Plunkett, Ashley Stevenson, Teresa Atkinson, and Alyssa Bragan contributed as well.
