Peewee Local takes the GOLD at YCW!!
This team has been taking the 'B' championship every tournament they have entered this year. After the last tournament, the team said NO MORE we want the 'A'. The team entered Young Canada Week and came up against BCH in the Championship game, and nothing could take it away from them.
The first period brought out Blyth scoring at 9:28 with Craig Raynard grabbing the goal with help from Brett Glousher and Patrick Franken. BCH evened the score in the second period. Going into the 3rd with hardly any nails left and at a time of 14:15 Brett Glousher puts one into the net with the help of Curtis Weber and Franken. Play continued back and forth, finally Gavin Workman sneaks in another goal with the help of Jefferson Godron and Cameron Gauthier. BCH did score again in the 3rd period, however our Dogs held them off to take the A championship.
