The Blyth-Brussels Atom girls travelled to Milverton over the holidays to play in the 2nd annual holiday tournament. The team played in 4 games.
The first game was against the Waterloo Ravens. The team got off to a fast start and won the game by a score of 7-1. Delayna Smith scored six times with Alexandra Martin getting the additional goal. Sydney Wightman, Samantha Kerr, Sarah Mitchell and Smith recorded assists.

The team rebounded with a good game against a familiar opponent in the Mount Forest Rams. The teams played to a 2-2 tie after the first period. The girls would continue to pressure and score 4 more unanswered goals to take the game 6-2. Smith added to her goal total bulging the twine five times in this game. Kerr added the other goal.
With a round robin record of 2 wins and 1 loss, the team advanced to the semi-final to play the first place team from the other pool. Ilderton proved to be too powerful and the girls were overwhelmed in a 11-0 loss to eliminate them from the tournament.
