Midget Bulldogs Sweep Series and Win WOAA
The Blyth Midget Bulldogs swept their series with Drayton winning three straight and capturing the WOAA Midget D title. All team members are to be congratulated for their hard work and excellent effort.
Leading the team scoring was Dallas Pennington with 8 points, followed by Kirby Cook and Adam Cronin with 6 points. Also adding to the point totals were Michael McDowell and Austin Sjaarda with 5 points each. Following closely behind was Shea McLean with 4 points and Dan Dery with 3 points. Ty Sebastien, Brendan Stretton, John LeComte and Tyler Middegaal contributed 2 points each and Tyler Black and Matt Popp added singles to round out the scoring efforts.
The Bulldogs are now waiting for the OMHA quarter final series to conclude. The next time our Midget Dogs take to the ice will be for the OMHA semi-finals. We wish our team the very best and we hope to see many fans in the stands. Go Blyth!
