Midget Win Against Zurich
On Wednesday, November 5th the Blyth Midget Bulldogs travelled to Zurich. With about 2.5 minutes into the game, Blyth got on the scoreboard with a goal from Adam Cronin assisted by Kenny Plunkett.
6 minutes later Blyth would score again with a goal from John Lecomte assisted by Matt Stevenson. Less than 2 minutes later Zurich would get their first. Blyth would score 3 more times in the last 3 minutes of the first. Goals from Cronin, assisted by Lecomte; Dan Dery assisted by Michael McDowell, and Plunkett from Dery would give Blyth a four goal lead entering the second.
Zurich would open the scoring in the second. Halfway through the second Blyth would score again, with a goal from Matt Chalmers assisted by Plunkett. Zurich would take over the game, scoring 3 more times in the second. The third had lots of thrilling action, but neither team would hit the mark.
Blyth would end the game successfully with a 6-5 win.
